The study assessed the impact of sibship size, prior academic performance, and parental involvement on the current academic performance of matriculation students in urban schools in Faisalabad. A multistage sampling technique was used to select respondents. The study used a quantitative and cross-sectional research design. The questionnaire had items related to the study variables. The questionnaire was pretested on 30 students to assess its validity and reliability. The findings of the study revealed that prior academic performance and parental involvement significantly positively impact current academic performance. However, the study underscores the robust negative impact of sibship size on current academic performance. These findings offer significant new information for the field of educational assessment and evaluation. The study helps to focus student interventions and promote a comprehensive comprehension of the various factors that influence the current academic performance of high school students.
